Easysites

Fruits of Thought has initiated an exiting initiative called EasySites. EasySites provides the next generation of enthusiastic young people in taking IT in Uganda to a new level.

Participants in the EasySites program are trained in using our specially developed EasySites Builder to make wonderful professional websites for the Ugandan market. The market segment we target includes NGOs, small-medium scale businesses, tourism branch and individuals who want to reach their audience through the internet.

After the 2 week training course participants will be able to start their own business in web design as an EasySites Licensee, but with full professional support and back up from our EasySites team. This means regular team meetings to discuss how Licensees are doing in their business, new software updates and follow-up training, marketing tools, quality control of the websites that they design and financial management.

The huge question for relative cheap websites, the growing number of companies and the wish to add a positive contribution to the Ugandan economy by offering graduated unemployed ICT students some work experience, are the main reasons and justification for setting up EasySites.

Although EasySites is meant to be a sustainable and financially independent program, there are some costs that can not be covered by sales only. We would like to offer the EasySites program also to youth who can't cover the costs and we would like to run a Licensees platform for networking and presenting themselves to potential customers.

That is why we are always looking for individuals, companies and organizations who would like to contribute to the EasySites program by sponsoring a candidate or with a more general donation.
